Ryder CupGentlemen — Twenty years. Let that sink in. Two decades of trash talk, impossible putts, questionable draft picks, and the kind of memories that only happen when 12 guys who genuinely love this game get together and just GO. For the 20th Annual, we’re raising the bar dramatically. Welcome to St. George, Utah — the crown jewel of desert golf, where crimson cliffs frame every fairway and the scenery rivals any national park on the continent.
Four rounds. Four distinct championship-caliber golf courses. Four formats designed to crown our best, expose our worst, and generate enough stories to last another twenty years. St. George sits at the intersection of three deserts, boasts 300+ days of sunshine, and has quietly become one of America’s premier golf destinations — right in the backyard of Zion National Park. In September? The weather is perfect.
"No other golf experience in the world pairs manicured greens with red rock cliffs, black lava fields, and coral pink sand dunes. Welcome to 300+ days of sun-filled golf in Greater Zion." — Visit Utah

Matt Dye — nephew of the legendary Pete Dye — crafted The Ledges as a masterclass in desert golf architecture. Nestled at the foothills of Snow Canyon State Park, this 7,200-yard layout opens with a links-style front nine over a wide-open canvas, then transforms dramatically on the back nine into raw canyon country.
Holes 11 through 17 feel like you’ve stepped inside Zion National Park — elevated tee boxes, ancient lava fissures, and towering white sandstone cliffs as your backdrop. Hole 14 is an absolute beauty, and the course runs about 10° cooler than downtown St. George. A perfect September afternoon opener.
"The back nine has significant elevation change and stunning views. I absolutely loved this stretch of golf. The Ledges was in great condition, tee to green — the club clearly prides itself on the total experience."

Sand Hollow’s Championship Course has earned its place in the national golf conversation — ranked in Golf Digest’s America’s 100 Greatest Holes (THREE holes), Golf Magazine’s Top 60 Public Courses in America, and a perennial Golfweek Top 100 Resort Course. This isn’t regional hype. Sand Hollow is legitimately world-class.
The front nine delivers wide fairways and striking red sand bunkers. Good golf, great views. But holes 11 through 15 are the reason you’ll be talking about this round for years — five consecutive holes along 300-foot canyon walls, culminating in the par-3 15th: a green suspended on the edge of the world with Zion National Park shimmering in the distance. Early morning light on these walls? Otherworldly.
"Sand Hollow is defined by bold scenery and an engaging sense of fun — the back nine is a showstopper, routed along towering ridgelines that drop off into deep canyons, creating some of the most unforgettable holes in Utah." — Golf Digest

Copper Rock opened in 2020 and has already hosted the LPGA Epson Tour and the annual Copper Rock Amateur Championship. This 7,227-yard design winds through the shadow of the Hurricane Cliffs with 360-degree desert mountain views and the finest bunkering in southern Utah — no forgettable holes, zero.
The front nine blends links holes, ponds, and elevated shots — including the driveable par-4 6th ‘Shipwreck’ over water. Then the back nine climbs the canyon walls at #12 and plays the ridgeline, highlighted by par-3 17th ‘SkyDive’: a 134-yard drop shot from the course’s high point with the entire layout spread below you. Staff pulls your cart to your car before you even pop the trunk.
"This is right there with Sand Hollow as the best public course in southern Utah. Always in great shape. The views are absolutely breathtaking, especially the back 9 at twilight." — GolfPass

Sky Mountain is the beloved underdog of the St. George golf scene — a value-priced gem that punches way above its weight class. Every single hole offers an unobstructed view of the Virgin River Valley and its surrounding red rock peaks, scaled perfectly for the head-to-head warfare of match play.
Holes 17 and 18 play along the edge of a sheer canyon rim — hole 17 is a sharp dogleg right beginning at a set of tees literally wedged to the cliff edge. Pure theater for match play finishes. At just 6,383 yards at elevation, it’s the most player-friendly round of the trip - perfect for a final round 1-on-1 matchup.
"Sky Mountain is the most scenic course in Southern Utah. Amazing condition — it always is. A few holes on the back nine run right along a canyon rim... watch that first step!" — Utah Golf Reviewer

We’ve played a lot of courses over the years. We’ve had great trips, close matches, clutch birdies, and some truly catastrophic back nines after rain delays and IPAs. But this one is different. This is the 20th season. And St. George, Utah in September? With four courses of this caliber? On the Red Rock Golf Trail, in the shadow of Zion National Park, where every tee box feels like a postcard and every sundown looks like it was painted by hand?
Get your game in shape. Dust off your handicap. Study your fantasy football boards. Pick the buddy you’re going to embarrass in match play at Sky Mountain on Friday morning. September 8th cannot get here fast enough.
"Golf is the closest game to the game we call life. You get bad breaks from good shots; you get good breaks from bad shots — but you have to play the ball where it lies." — Bobby Jones
See you on the first tee. Drinks are on whoever three-putts hole 1.
