Drake Maye put up 32.44 and essentially solved this game before halftime — Landon didn't need much else, and he didn't get much else, with Harrison Butker contributing a perfect zero from the kicker spot. Emmo had Luther Burden III going for 24.7 and a functional enough lineup, but "functional enough" doesn't beat 131 points, and Tyler Higbee's 2.4 made sure the Komets were never really threatening. The benches were close to a wash — Landon left 3.8 on the sideline, Emmo left 8.4 — so this wasn't a start/sit disaster for either side, just a clean win for the team whose QB showed up and a frustrating one for the team whose didn't. At 11–9 in the all-time series, Emmo still holds the edge, but Landon just flipped a stretch where he'd gone 2–3 in his last five — and with Maye looking like *that*, the Komets probably don't love their upcoming schedule.
