Emmo leads this series 11–8, but three of those wins have come in a row — which, at this point in the season, is either a streak worth protecting or a streak that's about to become a storyline. These two have a history of keeping it close when the points are low and blowing the roof off when they're not (see: 2020, Week 8, 278 combined points), so there's rarely a dull middle ground when Landon and Emmo line up. Week 7 of the BDLL's 20th season feels like exactly the kind of game where that pattern reasserts itself.
